The ebook runs to 134 pages and, in my view, would be particularly helpful to anyone who wants to improve the effectiveness of their public speaking. It is not aimed at people who are terrified of making a speech.

What struck me most about this ebook is that it gives very detailed and very helpful advice on how to structure a speech which is focused on a particular theme. So at the end of the talk your audience will be clear about what you were trying to say.

Paul Evans organizes his advice into 7 steps:

Step 1 - Have a single clear purpose for your speech
Step 2 - Tie each point of your talk into that purpose
Step 3 - Give evidence to support each point
Step 4 - Adding power with an effective beginning and end
Step 5 - Voice, clothes and body language
Step 6 - The best ways to practice your talk
Step 7 - Putting passion into your public speaking

One very useful section of the ebook is the 25 places to find good stuff advice which is contained within Step 3 - finding evidence. Also there are some templates you can use for planning the material for each point (Step 2) of your speech.

All in all, I would recommend this book as a very practical approach to constructing an effective talk. Another good point is that you can claim your money back if you don't like it!
